The L.A. Sheriff’s Department Killed John Winkler and is Lying 2

Very sad news, as John Winkler, a young guy who had recently moved to L.A., was shot by a member of the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department in his building in West Hollywood.

At this time it is unclear whether all or just one of the officers involved is lying about what actually happened.

By all accounts, Winkler was in the apartment building in which he lived when he became aware of a hostage type of situation.

Whatever happened next, we will probably never know, although I’d be inclined to believe the opposite of whatever official report is released in the coming months.

The unnamed officer who shot him is afforded the protection of anonymity because it would be hard on him if it were publicized that he killed an innocent person.

The official statement, which is laughable, is that:

“The apartment door suddenly opened and a male victim came rushing out. He was covered in blood and bleeding profusely from the neck. Simultaneously, victim Winkler ran out of the door, lunging at the back of the fleeing victim.”

So, are you saying that we’re fucking morons? You are? Great.

The innocent guy was “lunging” at the victim?

Why would he have been doing that?

By “lunging” do you mean running behind the victim?

I’m pretty sure that’s what you mean.

Otherwise, we are to assume that Winkler had somehow decided to attack the victim after he had entered the apartment in an attempt to help the victims avoid harm.

Does that seem rational?

No. That means that they are lying.

The L.A. Sheriff’s Department does this all the time. It’s not even especially out of the ordinary anymore.

Here’s what will happen to the officer who murdered him – he will be placed on paid leave. That means he be paid to not work for several months while earning pension funds that the citizens of this city will pay for, as we drive around fearing another bullshit traffic ticket, knowing that the Sheriff stealing our money is capable of murdering us.

Then this pathetic disgusting excuse for a human will be cleared of any wrongdoing, and resume stealing our money.

In fact, this officer could very well be compensated additionally because he feels emotional distress because he killed an innocent person.

This use of force and deceit is nothing new. There are hundreds of examples, but an incident a few years ago comes to mind.

A West Hollywood  convenience store about, five blocks from where John Winkler was shot, was held up at gunpoint. The L.A. Sheriff’s Department fired 8 rounds at the man who worked at the store and was chasing out the perpetrator.

I don’t know how to respond to this situation.

What’s clear is that these men are not on our sides. Otherwise they would have no reason to lie.

It is just a horrible tragedy that they had to take the life of such a promising and heroic man in the prime of his life.
