Demi Lovato And The Spin Game

As a case study you can learn a lot about society from listening to Demi Lovato’s retarded musings on life. Lovato’s parents are white trash losers from New Mexico who thought it would be a good idea to let her drop out of junior high school to be molested by pederast hacky shit for brains casting directors in the valley during her formative years.

Turns out that doesn’t usually work out to well. Even if you make it, you don’t really. Because your head is all fucked up.

Hence Lovato has somehow been brainwashed into thinking she’s way better than people who are genetically thinner than her. It’s a level of narcissism not often attained yet she appears to believe it wholeheartedly. Because she’s a literal idiot who I really shame myself for acknowledging.

She appears to have let a bunch of people who were stealing her agent’s money dictate her propaganda ridden thoughts on life, so much so that in a Scientology ridden state of hysteria they convinced this retarded cunt to buy into the own rehab center which was treating her! She now owns half of a for-profit rehab center, called CAST Centers (trademark.) It’s an LLC.

There should be a law against that.

Per Lovato:

“It just feels good. It sounds ridiculous, but I kind of made a pact with God, and I don’t even think you’re supposed to do that, but I promised, ‘If you make me a singer one day, I’m going to use my voice for so much more than singing, and I’m going to help people with it.'”

So God wanted you to make money. That’s usually the case. I emailed CAST Centers a series of forthright questions, copied and pasted below. A woman named Amy Smith promptly forwarded the questions to one of the biggest PR firms in the country and then took over a week to respond to me, all the while reporting back with a sense of dutiful paranoia and a false sense of positivity.

These are the questions:

1. Demi Lovato according to some articles I read co-owns a CAST center she recently bought. Are each of them independently owned, are they franchised or how does it work? How many centers are there?

2. CAST is an LLC, correct? Are there any plans to open it to the public? How many people share ownership in CAST?

3. Do you have any stats on the success rate of CAST?

4. What is the cost of being treated at CAST?

5. What types of clients do you service?

6. Are there any ethical implications in terms of turning a profit in this type of area, have any suggested mental health/addiction issues would better be handled for a non-profit?

The response:

“As a member of the team that represents CAST Centers, I’m happy to help you with these questions. Out of curiosity, what type of article are you writing, what’s your deadline and when do you foresee this running?

Best,
Amy

I proceeded to lie about having the article published in the Huffington Post so that they would take me somewhat seriously. Obviously the Huffington Post would never report on anything interesting. These idiots should have known that. And they did. They proceeded to verify through a contact at the Huffington Post that I was lying. So, they have a source there. Isn’t that interesting, or no?

Several different messages were exchanged. In the name of transparency I’ve copied and pasted the thread below. Feel free to skim over it and read my commentary at the bottom:

Hi Matt,
Haven’t gotten approval on the questions yet – can you still use? And if so – what section would this go in?

Thank you,
Amy

It’s a pretty straightforward article just addressing the questions below. Deadline is Thursday. Huff Po. I don’t know when it would run that’s not up to me, presumably soon. Thanks for your response. Matt.

I’m so sorry, it seems my email never reached you. Without more details on the piece, we’d decided to pass on the particular opportunity.

Ok, I’m going to report exactly what you just said then. Do you want to think it over once more?

If you go to the website of JConelly.com you’ll find one of the scarier 1984 propaganda pieces of all time.

These are the people who distribute misinformation about fracking, about what’s in Coca-Cola, about Monsanto, about Marlboro, and about any other fucked up thing you can think about someone selling their soul for and then probably being a dick to the waitress at Chili’s.

As every single douchebag piece of shit who works there has.

And CAST Centers.

And Demi Lovato.

The creepy corporate sheen.

It’s all over the site.

And her music.

I’ll try and not hammer home the point, but do the math.
