Jussie Smollett is a Liar Who Faked a Hate Crime

I wanted to be one hundred percent sure, or as close to a hundred percent as possible, before accusing actor Jussie Smollett of lying about being the subject of a racial and homophobic attack, in which assailants supposedly beat him up, wrapped a noose around his neck, poured an unknown chemical on him, and shouted racial epithets while endorsing the Trump administration.

After more and more details of this case have emerged, I now feel confident.

Jussie Smollett is a liar, the worst kind of liar, and once all of the information gets out and the evidence definitively points this way beyond any shadow of a doubt, he should be shunned by all of society and kicked out of America and be forced to move to Antarctica and subsist on lichens.

Before I explain why Jussie Smollett is definitely a liar, using his own statements to construct a timeline which makes his attack look implausible by even professional wrestling plot line standards, I have to admit there are two additional factors which have colored my judgement on this; the first is that he proclaims himself to be an “activist” and the second is that he is an actor.

As you’ve read to this point, I know what you are thinking, and it’s a completely rational question: Matt, why would someone make something like this up?

Because…

Smollett is an activist, and he promotes himself as an activist, even before this most recent incident, and more so afterwards, recently staging a concert at the Troubadour in West Hollywood to perform songs from his music album.

It should be noted that this concert took place three days after his alleged attack, and that his most recent performance previous to this took place on October 20th, over three months ago.

Smollett addressed the attack multiple times, stating:

“I’m not fully healed yet… But I’m going to, and I’m gonna stand strong with y’all. I had to be here tonight, y’all, I couldn’t let those motherfuckers win. I fought the fuck back.”

Chicago police have found all but 60 seconds of video footage from street and business cameras from the night of that event.

The footage shows Smollett leaving a Subway sandwich store carrying a sub in a plastic bag while talking on his phone. He walks down the street. It’s 2 a.m. and -9 degrees. 60 second of the footage goes missing, and Smollett is shown walking back to his apartment, now with a noose around his neck, still on the phone, and still carrying his sandwich. 60 seconds is a remarkably short amount of time to be accosted, assaulted, have a noose tied around your neck, be doused in bleach, and recover your sandwich, especially for a young, fit, 6’0″ tall dude, fighting the two attackers off, as Smollett claims.

I’m still not sure where that missing 60 seconds went. I would guess either the police are holding onto it as proof of what actually happened in case of possibly filing charges against Smollett, or Smollett knew of some enclave which would shield him from cameras. This is all pure speculation on my part, but the fact that the attack happened during the only 60 seconds that is unaccounted for is too strange to be coincidence.

Yahoo News noted that Smollet’s performance at the Troubadour went swimmingly, and that he was somehow able to persevere through his set in Willis Reed fashion:

He noted that while he was bruised, his ribs had not been broken nor cracked. He also was examined by a doctor, but he was not hospitalized, though physicians in Chicago in [sic] LA cleared him for the performance.

Yes, physicians cleared him for the performance because he didn’t have any injuries outside of a few minor scrapes to his face. Solid reporting Yahoo.

While Smollett did in fact go to the hospital to be examined after the attack, he was pronounced to be in “good condition.”

It seems unlikely he specifically went back to see a physician to clear him to sing, especially once arriving in Los Angeles, and that Yahoo is simply getting their information from Smollett and his people and doing a shit job of journalism.

So, why would Smollett fake a hate crime?

According to the FBI, in 2017, the most recent year available, there were 7,175 hate crimes in America, with roughly 60 percent being racially motivated, 20 percent being motivated by religion, and 15 percent being motivated by sexual orientation.

White people make up about 60 percent of the country’s population. Given the number of religious minorities – Muslims, Jews, Sikhs, (all of whom may or may not be considered white for census purposes) and factoring in that about 5 percent of the population identifies as gay, I’m just going to estimate that roughly half the population is eligible for a hate crime of some sort (federal hate crime laws also protect against crimes motivated by gender, so the number is far greater, but as mentioned, most hate crimes are motivated by race, religion, and sexual orientation.)

So, there are roughly 150,000,000 adults and young adults in this country eligible to be the victim of a hate crime (I’m not counting babies and toddlers), so divided by the 7,175 hate crimes per year, that means you have about a 1 in 21,000 chance of falling victim to some sort of incident.

That’s actually a fairly troubling number, and indeed, according to the FBI, hate crimes rose by a whopping 17 percent in 2017, because, most obviously, Trump has emboldened the type of people who commit hate crimes.

So, I’m not throwing these numbers out there to minimize the incidence of hate crimes, I’m throwing them out there because, magically, if you identify yourself as an activist, and, to a lesser degree, are on youtube, or are a musician or an actor, your chances of being the victim of a hate crime skyrocket about 9 million percent – and exponentially so when you combine these two factors.

Does being an activist or an entertainer perhaps target you as a victim, making victimhood more likely? Probably so, to some degree.

But, I believe that it actually benefits you to become a victim in this scenario, because it gives you material for your fodder.

These people make money off of this stuff. It’s often times their livelihood.

Smollett’s show was sold out.

We’ve seen it time and time again. Countless false flag events staged by low rent public figures, desperate for attention on these issues. Youtubers such as Calum McSwiggan and Alexis Jones, and activist lunatics such as Rachel Dolezal, who indeed mailed herself threatening bigoted letters, which she herself wrote, and Rain Dove, who recently invented a story about being harassed in a public bathroom.

This is why, apart from his implausible story, I think it’s even more likely that Smollett faked this incident.

Here is the story, according to official first hand accounts from police, giving Smollett the benefit of the doubt and factoring in his various revisions and clarifications as to what happened:

Roughly a week before the attack, Smollett received a threatening letter which read, in cutout magazine letters, “You will die, black fag”, and contained a crude drawing of a stick figure getting shot with a gun.

The letter, addressed to Smollett, was sent to Fox Studios, which produces the show Empire, of which Smollett is a cast member.

While not reporting this letter to police, Smollett apparently shared the letter with various people, which led to a beefed up security presence on set, and for Fox to offer him private security for his protection when away from the set, which Smollett denied.

A week later, Smollett was walking out of a Subway at 2 a.m. He was talking on his phone, he says to his manager. Following the attack, Smollett refused to release his phone records to the police to corroborate this. His manager (this would curiously enough be his music manager) vouches for Smollett, claiming he was indeed on the phone with him when this happened and heard him being threatened.

Smollett was then attacked by two men in ski masks, who beat him, tied a noose around his neck, doused him with an unknown chemical (widely reported to be bleach), and shouted racial and homophobic epithets at him as well as telling him “This is MAGA country.”

(This happened on the 300 block of East North Water Street, which is not at all MAGA country. Also, I don’t know how most people behave after being threatened with a death letter, but perhaps walking home alone at 2 a.m. on an empty street on a freezing cold night would not be as typical as say, calling an Uber?)

This attack happened within the only 60 second span of Smollett’s pre and post attack not accounted for on surveillance video.

Smollett, who retained his wallet, phone and Subway sandwich in the attack, decided against immediately calling the police, and walked home to his apartment with the noose still around his neck.

He reported the attack to police as having occurred around 2 a.m., yet the police were not called at 2:30 a.m.

Police arrived to his apartment at 2:40 a.m. and took a report, and Smollett still had the noose around his neck.

The police report, obtained via a Freedom of Information Act request, states that Smollett’s friend called the police for him because he “… did not want to report offense [sic] however he believed it to be in the best interest to.”

He didn’t want to report the attack, yet, according to Smollett, he left the noose around his neck to “preserve evidence.”

Which is it?

Furthermore, does this seem like the type of guy who wouldn’t want to report this to police?

Let alone not reporting such an incident would be irresponsible, assuming there are two racist thugs out assaulting random people, but this is the same guy who within days spoke passionately about fighting back in front of a crowd of (stupid) people at his concert?

In the following days police had many more questions, and conducted a follow up interview, which is the first time Smollett mentioned anything about the “MAGA” comments.

Smollett then went to the hospital to be looked over, where he was deemed to have no significant injuries, although since retracted reports had him suffering from “broken ribs.”

Now he’s doing damage control, claiming he has been misrepresented and that “the truth will come out”, all the while, according to police, still refusing to hand over his phone records.

I would argue the truth has come out, and this story is bullshit.

There’s a real give and take, a symbiotic relationship between annoying, dramatic, dishonest fringe-progressives, the trigger warning, cultural appropriation, gender fluid crowd, and the casually racist majority of Trump supporters.

People voted for Trump because they’re sick of this shit, and some progressives are now staging false flags to prove there is a greater threat than there actually is – and I do believe it to be significant – it’s just not as significant as they want it to be, which is, obviously, perverse.

Also, they are narcissists who crave attention and aspire to be the next Abbie Hoffman, Muhammed Ali, or Susan B Anthony.

The problem is that those people dedicated their lives to the cause, and you spent a few days planning a fake attack.

It’s the same old story, these people want the notoriety without putting in the work.

I don’t know exactly what happened to Smollett, he might have actually gotten punched by someone.

I just know that the story he tells is not what happened, and I hope that once all of the information is uncovered that we don’t forget about this, and in fact continue pushing to have Smollett extradited to Antarctica, because I believe that as dangerous as these hypothetical assailants would have been, he is worse, because he casts doubt over the entire cause, since anyone who looks into the details can tell he is a liar.

Imagine what Trump will be saying about this…
