Kelly Thomas Can No Longer Go Apartment Hunting Since he is Dead 3

Kelly Thomas is the name of the man who was beaten to death, or forcibly asphyxiated, depending on how you look at it, by Fullerton Police in 2011.

Can you find anything odd about the following description of the events, which I pulled from an Associated Press article?:

Two California police officers who were videotaped in a violent struggle with a homeless man during an arrest were acquitted Monday of killing him.

I’m sorry, what does the guy being homeless have to do with it? He’s still a man, right?

Every single news source I have encountered has referred to Thomas not as being a man but a homelessman, not just when introducing his background, but every single time they mention him.

The media is attempting to lessen the consequences of the policemen’s actions by diminishing the worth of the life that was taken, and it is sickening.

Never before has it been so obvious that the media has tacitly agreed to cooperate with the hijacking of this country through martial law.

Would it have been different if they murdered a rich guy, like Gilbert Arenas? Or a guy like Donald Trump who plays a rich guy on TV?

Don’t worry, its not that big of a deal. The guy was homeless.

What does the guy’s living situation have to do with the fact that he was beaten to death?

Never heard it come up before:

On Saturday, two LAPD police officers dressed up in Robocop outfits and raped couch-surfer Jeremiah DeReynaldo to death with a mop handle.

Tensions are high today in Montebello, as police have decided to throw bricks through the window of two-bedroom-apartment renter Oren Van Jackson in order to amuse themselves.

Tragedy in Malibu today, as a master-bedroom-renter, but rents-spare-bedroom-to-buddy-from-college man, was shot by police because they felt like it.

The tragic death of a bachelor apartment lesee but once slept in a park for two days when he broke up with girlfriend man Orny Jacksonstein occured in Santa Monica on Tuesday as he was hit by a bus.

Yeah that would never happen.

The fact that EVERY news outlet, from Fox News, to NPR is doing this is inexcusable and it clearly shows that the media have an agenda, and will from now on refuse to come to grips with the brutality that this police occupation exhibits on a constant basis.

And, since this is a blog, FUCK THEM.

Right on man. Agreed with everything you said in this blog.. What can we do about it? Is the question I keep asking myself

I have no idea. Basically if everyone spit on cops every single time they saw one, they’d start adjusting their behavior. The thing is, we would have to agree to start doing it as a society, cause kind of like if you’re standing on a diving board going “You jump first, no you..” we’d all have to go at the same time. I propose that its a pretty decent idea to publicly shame these people as an institution. That’s a good starting place anyway. Right?
